What remains
ABOUT THE PROJECT
This project is not about birds. These photographs do not show the world, they do not stop time.
They do not speak of what was. This is not the story of an event or a place.
It is an observation of movement that leaves no trace. Of life that passes and is no longer there at the moment of looking. The images show what remains. In thought, in memory. In me. In You.
What remains is something different in each of us.
- At the beginning, uncertainty appears. Nothing has happened yet, it is not known what will happen, there is an attempt to make a decision and fear of making it. Uncertainty.01 / 06 - Then comes the choice, the thought begins to take shape, the direction becomes clear, legible, but still fragile, delicate. Choice.02 / 06 - Then the line breaks. Emptiness appears, a suspension. What seemed to have been named loses its stability. After a moment of hesitation, there is a return to the chosen direction. Suspension.03 / 06 - In the next stage, tension emerges — mass, rhythm, repetition. The individual disappears into the community, actions become automatic, collective thinking is a necessity. Tension.04 / 06 - With time, doubt appears. What is necessary then is support, real stability - a horizon appears. A thin delicate line, a lifeline. Doubt.05 / 06 - At the end there is silence. What remains exists only within us. Silence.06 / 06
